House Rules
*When making your reservation, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, comprehended, and consented to the house rules. Additionally, you are accountable for ensuring that all members of your group are informed, comprehend, and concur with these regulations.*
Check-in: Check in time is at 4pm EST. Guest(s) will be given a code for the keypad on the door, for private access to the cabin. The code will be provided to you prior to check in.
Check-out: The checkout time is scheduled for 10 am EST. Before departing from the property, we kindly request that guests complete the following tasks:
-Load and initiate the dishwasher.
-Dispose of trash in the outdoor trash container positioned on the right side of the cabin. (Garbage collectors will not accept loose trash.)
-Ensure all doors and windows are securely closed and locked.
-Promptly report any damages to the hosts.
Please be aware that if the property is not left in good condition, additional cleaning charges may apply, and these charges will be billed to the guest's credit card. Furthermore, upon both checkout and any time you leave the cabin, please be sure to engage the lock button on the front door to guarantee the cabin's security and safety
Smoking: Our property is completely smoke-free, and smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises. If there is suspicion of smoking inside the property, an extra cleaning fee of $200 will be applied.
Noise and Quiet Hours: Please respect our neighbors and maintain a quiet atmosphere between 10:00 PM EST and 8:00 AM EST
Parties and Events: Hosting parties or large gatherings on the property is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized parties may lead to immediate eviction without a refund, and guests will be held responsible for any additional cleaning expenses incurred.
Pets: Pets are not permitted on the premises. If you are traveling with a pet, kindly arrange for their care at an alternate location during your stay. Failure to comply with this policy may result in penalties and/or the cancellation of your reservation without a refund.
Wildlife: Given our mountain location, it's important to be aware of the potential presence of bears and other smaller animals. Please make sure to lock all doors and windows overnight and when you're away from the cabin. Additionally, refrain from leaving any trash or food outside or in your vehicle, as bears are currently preparing for hibernation.
Traffic: Our cabin is located in a private residential neighborhood. They/we ask that you stay on the RIGHT SIDE of the road when driving in the neighborhood and to also respect the speed limit.
Trash and Recycling: Utilize the designated trash containers for your disposal needs. Before your check-out, ensure that no perishable food items are left in the refrigerator.
Damages and Repairs: We recognize that accidents can occur and may lead to damage to cabin items. Kindly inform us before checking out, allowing us to address the issue promptly before the arrival of the next guests.
For removing makeup that might stain the white towels, please make use of the makeup remover wipes or the colored washcloths we have thoughtfully supplied. To prevent permanent stains on the white towels, avoid using them to clean floors or any surfaces that could cause discoloration.
Hot tub- Please refrain from standing on the cover, and ensure that children are supervised at all times. When not in use, it is essential to keep the cover closed.
Amenities and Appliances: Please use all appliances and amenities with care. If you encounter any issues or have questions about their use, contact us for assistance.
Security: Please make sure to secure all doors and windows whenever you are away from the property. Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items. For added security, there is an exterior security camera installed to monitor the cabin's surroundings. The neighborhood is typically peaceful, and this camera is primarily for insurance reasons. Any effort to tamper with, redirect, or obstruct the camera in any manner will incur a mandatory fee, and the owner may consider canceling the guest's reservation.
WiFi and Internet Usage: Complimentary WiFi is provided. Please use it responsibly and do not engage in illegal or harmful activities online.
Plumbing: The septic system operates efficiently but can become blocked if inappropriate items are flushed. ONLY flush toilet paper, and please refrain from flushing any feminine hygiene products. Utilize the provided toilet tissue exclusively. In the event of a system blockage, guests will be held responsible for associated damages and charges.
Owners’ Closet: The property owners maintain a securely locked closet on the premises for their personal belongings and additional supplies intended for the rental. Please be aware that this closet is strictly private and should not be accessed by tenants or their guests under any circumstances. Unauthorized entry into this locked space is considered a serious breach of the rental agreement and will result in immediate eviction. In such cases, guests will be held responsible for any damages incurred, any missing items, and will be subject to a $500 eviction fee.
Compliance with Laws: Guests are expected to comply with all local laws and regulations during their stay.
*Eating and drinking in the bedrooms are not permitted. Kindly savor your meals in the designated dining area.
*It's important to maintain continuous supervision of children throughout your stay. Please refrain from leaving children unattended anywhere on the property.
*No Third Party bookings
Kindly be aware that our prices are non-negotiable and fixed. We do, however, extend a 10% discount for reservations lasting more than 7 nights. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate any further reductions. Thank you for your understanding.
